By Gum I'm knackered !! Tired thsat is a little fatigued. Two shows in a weekend is a bit hectic, especially when one of my key guys - Jim the Painter has a family thing to deal with and can't make the whole event. Nevertheless another TWAT Andrew the tekkie stepped manfully into the breach so the Border Reiver. Good show that- best footfall for several years so they tell me.Not that I saw much as I was busy most of the day so no complaints from me though it closed a bit early at 3 pm . Mind you it was over by then so no problem- in fact all to the good as I could get home early as I had to be up at first sparrow fart next morning for the run to Newark and Partizan. Another busy day so not even a cursory look at the games and never even got out of the main hall except to the gents and the bar- to take a round back to the rest of the team . Once again a good day- far far better than the May Partizanand somewhat better than the previous September one. I'm told the gate was down - and yes there were quiet bits but I seemed to be talking most of the time - and getting gear out for chaps that sort of thing.
Saw a good few chaps John the mouldmaker for one. He'll be getting more jacdaw soon- French Line cavalry shold be out by the end of the month and just maybe Austrian Hussars. Also a couple of new Aircraft- variants of the Cessna for Rhodesia and Vietnam. Percy has donne a cracking job on these kits.
As for the Jacdaw I'll post pics next time I get the camera out.
Right now I think I'll catch up on a bit of sl;eep.
