Jacdaw news.

Just a quck word to let you know about up and coming Jacdaw releases. I've just sent off a new bundle of masters to the mouldmaker. All 30mm This means that the British Artillery will be out in a couple of weeks- a pack of 2 6 pdr guns and a pack of 8 crew plus tools . Also imminent are the Austrian Hussars- 3 or perhaps 4 packs. Command , Troopers, "Characters" - (a hussar Sutleress a looting hussar and a "Hussar Girl") . Also - and I'm not sure how I'll do this yet wether a 4 fig pack or a single - a Hussar in winder dress wearing his pelisse. This lot should all be out in time for Christmas. Also I can now tell you that David is working on some figures for a different period indeed in a different century- effectivly its a commision but this new range will be available for sale in the normal manner so Napoleonic Swedish here we come! This will be a full range including cavalry and artillery as well as chaps in silly hats. Swedish troops were tough- you'd have to be in that daft hat! But they also wore French and Russian style shakos. so we'll do those too. More info and pics as I have them Well thats all the news thats fit to print... Bye for now... Andy

  1. Sounds exciting, but I hope David won't be diverted from all those other WAS period figures he has mentioned in the past, like light troops and Piedmontese amongst others.

  2. John Not to worry- light troops are on the board. I have a Bavarian infanrty master- not moulding him until I have command as well as other troops awaiting moulding or for thier group to be finished. Schomberg Dragoons are in the queueas are Scots Greys.

  4. Thanks for the update, David. That's really good news. I'm enjoying painting up your Austrian infantry at the moment and will be ordering the new French cavalry before Christmas. I thought the cavalry you did for Tradition were the best of the range, so very much looking forward to the new ones.
