As seems to be the norm currently work having taken over my life painting time is severly limited. Nevertheless I am getting a few things finished as these few pictures will attest.
First the Highlanders. Many years ago I bought a small beutifully painted Jacobite army from Steve Skinner- an excellent painter who had painted a lot of stuff for me in the 1990s Swiss Landsknects and Poles to name but three- these have now gone to new homes and some ECW which I still have. These Jacobite cme to live with me but I didn't like the basing and always planned to rebase them... move on almost a quater of a century and the job has finally actually begun.
Now on to India.
The three cavalry are from Old Glory pack RPX2 and are listed as Persians but these will go into the 18th century Mughal army that will arise out of the various Indian units being painted, These will join assorted Rohillas and Afghans as those units get completed.
Mutineers.
Need more Mutineers- saw these on ebay along with some British- advertised as minifigs -which they most certainly are not. They has paint on them and when I received them it was far better than the photos so they only needed a rebase and a strong touching up. Want to get the Indian Mutiny collection on to the table this year.
Now back to the paperwork.
