Some small additions to the Mutiny collection.

It has been some time since I have written a missive for this little Blog of mine. What with one thing and another I simply could not find the time or indeed anything much to write about.. The last four and a bit months have been  more than a little hectic most of the time what with busy mail order , researching for my next book and getting the new Old Glory UK website sorted out there has not been a lot of painting time.  I have manged 2 wargames- one ECW in a previous post here and a WW2 naval game which the Royal Navy finally came second after an early match lead that is the way the ball (or D6) bounces sometimes.

However, having said all that I have managed the odd bit of painting and modelling mostly adding to my Indian Mutiny collection (or indeed my 'First War of Independence' collection) Not much it is true but these additions move things a little closer to getting the collection on to the table.

Mutineers of the 71st Bengal Native Infantry  about to ransack Captain Caruthers tent.28mm Old Glory models.

The tent is an Old Glory piece from the 'second edition' ACW range and the pile of luggage from an Old Glory cart which is currently getting bullocks instead of horses.  The more observant of you gentle readers might notice two crates of beer. These were 3D printed by my friend Shaun and I'd kept them for some time wondering what I could do with them.

Loyal men of the 71s BNI led by Captain Caruthers  chase off the mutineers! A British ADC from the staff calls out 'I say, Caruthers have you got a bottle of Bass  to spare old fruit?'

The little crates and the tent seemed to dictate the above bit of silliness.
